Dersin Amacı |
The major objective of this course is to provide students basic knowledge and skills to read and analyse the signs, symbols and images; In this context, the language of design and its translation into communication wiil be introduced and examined. |

Introduction to basic language of visual communication, semiology and related concepts such as indicator, series, array, surplus information, entropy, direct meaning and side meaning, expression, metaphor, metonim, ideology, representation, parody, coding, analysis and favour. |
